"The variety sour"

Films: Devil's Junction: Handy Dandy's Revenge (2019)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: Half that of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: This year, we have seen a variety hour show go horribly wrong. But it was one we were vaguely familiar with. This one, on the other hand, came out of the blue just to screw with us. And it's...not all that great.

History: Back in the 60s, people watched "The Handy Dandy Show", which was basically filled with puppets and general family show fare. But this show withheld a dark secret. The host of the show, Mr. Jolly, was intent on using an ancient artifact and dagger for a ritual that would make him stronger, and his whole show was a front for sacrifices. In the modern day, the place is abandoned, but he and Handy Dandy's army of reanimated puppets are waiting for unsuspecting victims...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Just when it all seems like Handy Dandy and Mr. Jolly will get away with it, his rival makes the ritual go south, and every puppet and villain is sucked into a portal presumably leading to Hell.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-So, your favorite old show turned out to be a psychotic cult with a depraved kids show host and a bunch of creepy dummies. Well, at least be grateful that they don't do that much other than act creepy and spout convoluted stuff. Still, pretty creepy.

Trivia: -This film was shot at the abandoned WJBK television studio in Detroit, Michigan. In other words, shot on location.

-Apparently, all the old cars in this film were owned by the producer.
